Classes

Take a stained glass class with me in my studio in New Orleans! Email me at [email protected] to set up a time that works for you - we can arrange a class that fits your schedule and needs. I also teach group glass mosaic workshops!

I offer sliding scale pricing based on the number of people per 5hr class.

Private class - $200 per person
2, 3 or 4 students - $150 per person

I can currently fit 5 students in my studio, this gives you plenty of space to spread out and be provided with your own tools. Classes use lead-based solder and are for people 18 and older. My studio is not entirely ADA compliant but I am very happy to modify elements of the space and process to be accessible. 

Classes are 5 hours long and we can split the sessions between two days if needed. 

You will learn to cut glass, grind the edges, apply copper foil and solder, leaving with a framed finished piece about 6x6" or 4x8" Choose from a whole rainbow of colored and textured glass as well as a range of pre-designed beginner friendly templates.

I also teach advanced technique classes, including classes in the lead came method (for outdoor windows or large architectural projects). I am happy to offer support to current glass artists looking to build more ambitious projects, pattern design, reinforcement, framing and repair lessons. Basically I am an open book and would love to help take your work the the next level! 

I have been teaching sculpture for over a decade and teaching stained glass for 5 years now. I love this process and I'm confident that I can get you started in a way that encourages you to go forward and practice on your own or just have one very fun evening with friends!
